Something of a trial run for the big reveal in “That’s My Boy??”. Rob and Laura gird themselves for a showdown with the parents of the boy who has been teaching Ritchie naughty words. Gradually, it turns into a Very Special Episode: “How do you stop kids from slipping?”

I found myself urgently shopping for more of the items that we ended up loving to use in those early months (which were, of course, the pieces that were super comfortable for the baby and incredibly easy for us to get on and off over and over again).

“This costume was better than expected. My child was 3 months old at the time (85th percentile) and this fit perfectly. She is pretty fussy when it comes to putting on clothes, but she loved wearing this. I think it has something to do with how soft the inside is. She loves holding stuffed animals, so I assume this was like wearing one. I highly recommend this costume.”

With her family’s shop as a resource, Huntley said she is able to acquire bamboo cotton fabrics in a variety of designs that cannot be found on Maui.

Columbia made a concerted effort to build the most environmentally friendly rain shell possible here: The company used no harmful PFCs in the recycled waterproof/breathable fabric and refrained from using dyes, which saves 13 gallons of water per jacket (the shell comes in white or black, which is created via a process that incorporates charcoal into the fabric for color).  All those thoughtful intentions also add up to technical prowess: a burly, but family light (13 ounces) jacket that can handle big trips and have use on rainy commutes.

“If you see our Instagram stories, I often encourage feedback – inviting them to share stories of their little one’s exciting moments and milestones or occasionally posting fun quotes that our followers can really relate to,” she said. 

“We absolutely loved this costume! It fit well and true to size. My grandson got tons of oohs and aahs over his costume — it’s adorable! It’s fairly warm, but we lucked out with a cooler night for Halloween in Virginia. He still puts the ‘feet’ on and wears them for slippers sometimes. For Halloween, he wore shoes under the slippers — they just barely fit over them, but it worked for us since he was walking at an outside trunk-or-treat event.”

“I got the 18–24-month-old size large. My 26-month-old daughter is short for her age, so the arms and legs were long on her, as expected. Everyone who saw her yesterday said it was their favorite costume of the night! It fit her great. We cut the footies off and just wore sneakers for easier walking. She was such a ham the whole night! The headpiece surprisingly was kept on the entire DAY (even at day care), and didn’t seem to bother her one bit. Definitely get this while they are young! We convinced her she was PRINCESS Piggy. Next year, she will expect to wear a real princess dress costume.”
