133. “Your Home Sweet Home is My Home” (Season 4, Episode 25)As far as flashback episodes go, the story of how Rob and Laura’s friendship with Jerry and Millie is strained when they both want the same home on Bonnie Meadow Road does loom not large in the Petrie mythology.
The Skipper has a similar waxy finish to Jojo Maman Bebe’s Fisherman jacket but with a slightly lighter feel. It would work well as a daily spring-to-autumn jacket and our younger testers loved the bold shark and scuba diver designs. It is reliably waterproof, windproof and comfy, with a fleece liner. It’s not a breathable jacket but that’s not normally necessary for smaller children. It does lack reflective features though.
According to the AAP, you can generally tell if your child is safely strapped into a car seat by pinching the harness. If you can pinch the straps between your fingers, it needs to be tightened.
But if your little one is anything like ours, then you know how hard it is to dress a squirmy, screaming baby. Our son Max is now 10 months old, and while I thought he would grow out of hating putting clothes on, the dislike for it is only getting stronger no matter how many songs I sing!

115. “It Wouldn’t Hurt Them to Give Us a Raise” (Season 4, Episode 11)Rob Petrie is not one for confrontation, but it’s always nice to see him take a stand after being pushed too far, in this case by the Alan Brady Show accountant (Roger C. Carmel) who refuses to give Buddy and Sally a raise.
Between Crew’s colorful swaddle blankets and cute onesies, and Joanna’s casual, country chic ensembles, it’s clear these two have their sense of style down pat.
26. “Forty-Four Tickets” (Season 1, Episode 11)“Oh, Robert,” Laura scolds when Rob forgets he had promised members of the PTA 44 tickets to attend a filming of The Alan Brady Show. Rob’s forgetfulness, like his clumsiness, is a comedic way to ground a man who otherwise leaves an incredibly charmed life. The funniest moments are the bridge game in which Rob realizes his error (“I bid 44 no tickets”) and Buddy and Sally trying to steal a cache of tickets from Mel’s pocket.
Okay, but what if you just really, really want to put your kid in a coat or snowsuit? It turns out there are actually safe options out there—warm coats and snowsuits that won’t add dangerous bulk to the car seat.
