68. “Hustling the Hustler” (Season 2, Episode 5)A solid Buddy episode in which his black sheep brother (who knew he had one?) reappears to announce he’s reformed, but Buddy won’t believe him. The episode’s funniest bit is in the beginning with an office money jar for every time Buddy insults Mel. Mel makes his own deposit (“That’s for what I was thinking”). Then things take a dark turn when Blackie engages Rob in a game of pool. Effective editing heightens the tension.

The main reasons to buy organic – be it cotton or bamboo – are the softness. Some are so silky they could be made of cashmere. No nasties, they’re chemical free and natural, so better for the environment. And because of all of the above they’re much more delicate on sensitive, new baby skin. Therefore less likely to cause any reactions or allergies. They also tend to wash well so many of our testers suggested the idea of buying less organic and washing them more, as opposed to bulk buying many non-organic.

First, let’s consider that lovely umbilical cord stump, poking out from the tiny tummy for a few weeks after birth. Some newborn diapers have little swoop-down shapes in the front for this purpose, but I distinctly remember the nurses in the hospital always folding the front of the diapers downward before continuing to dress the baby, to avoid rubbing and snagging. My husband, funnily, kept in the habit of folding down the diaper long past when the stump fell off and the belly button made its appearance.

Not excellent, but Van Dyke holds his own opposite the handsome dog in an extended set piece in which he tries to lull the animal to sleep.

41. “The Secret Life of Buddy and Sally” (Season 2, Episode 10)First Buddy thought Rob and Sally were having an affair. Then Rob thought Buddy was having an affair with a married woman. This episode encourages the thought that Buddy and Sally are having an affair. But it’s literally all an act. It’s always fun to watch Amsterdam and Marie perform. Features the one and only appearance of “those dancing suburbanites, Lester and Esther Bushmaster.”

Next, prioritize and think about how often you’ll really use something. We splurged on a couple Patagonia and merino wool pieces knowing that Max would be in them for five months straight. We also hope we’ll have another one who can wear it next.
