It’s just another example of the extremely giving and supportive community and it’s amazing to reach out to the community and have them put kids first.”

The nonprofit started as the Schenectady Girls Club in 1937. The Albany Girls Club was founded in 1961, and the two finalized a merger in 2001.

“This costume was better than expected. My child was 3 months old at the time (85th percentile) and this fit perfectly. She is pretty fussy when it comes to putting on clothes, but she loved wearing this. I think it has something to do with how soft the inside is. She loves holding stuffed animals, so I assume this was like wearing one. I highly recommend this costume.”
