“These are kids from working-class families and by giving them a new winter coat is one less expense the parents have to account for,” Rose said. “We were so successful last year. We were able to provide coats to siblings too young to be part of the program and we will provide coats for parents as well if they need them. It’s just another example of the extremely giving and supportive community and it’s amazing to reach out to the community and have them put kids first.”

He objected to the ‘hat’ for a minute, then forgot all about it and seemed totally comfortable.
