Morrisons’ latest clothing range inspired by designer pieces | Girls Coats

A: Last year was the most we’d ever raised for coats and that was $183,000 — money on telethon day and online. I’m hoping we can beat that this year. We typically collect about 6,000 coats and a few hundred toys. About six years ago, the Salvation Army let us know it was struggling to keep its toy closet filled during the holiday season so that’s a newer element we’re trying to grow.

Which brings us to the game-changing sitcom created by Carl Reiner that ran from 1961-1966. It was based on Reiner’s experiences as a suburban family man who wrote for Sid Caesar’s variety shows, Your Show of Shows and Caesar’s Hour. Van Dyke starred in the eponymous series as Rob Petrie, head writer for The Alan Brady Show, juggling the demands of his glamorous show business career with his often-harried home life.

"They sort of made it official and started making the stickers," Kannally said. "I don’t really like to take full credit for it. I definitely had some help with it."

“This was exactly what I needed. It was true to size and totally adorable. My 21-month-old wore it three times, for a few hours each, and it held up just fine. He objected to the ‘hat’ for a minute, then forgot all about it and seemed totally comfortable. Some other reviewers were dissatisfied that there was no tail; I didn’t mind at all — he was still unmistakably a tiger, and I think it would have just gotten in the way and led to the whole thing ripping if it got caught. Totally recommend! Note: We did not have him walk outdoors with it — only indoors. If one is buying this for trick-or-treating, I’m not sure how long the feet would hold up.”

He drew a couple versions and showed them to some guys on the team. They picked one, took it to a design company owned by the family of a former St. Charles hockey player and soon had stickers memorializing Thomas Knox on all of their helmets. 

“These pajamas are the most comfortable I have ever owned! They are perfect for the Florida climate throughout the year. They are so soft and definitely seem to breathe with your skin. I liked them so much that I bought several pairs in various colors.”

“I love this so much! It is very comfortable and soft. I did not realize that the under-bust lace part was see-through, but it doesn’t bother me. Have yet to wash it to see how it holds up, but it seems to be a well-made item. It is a nice length and not too tight. So it is modest enough to wear as a standard night gown but very pretty and elegant. Would love some more in other colors.”
