117. “Sally and the Lab Technician” (Season 1, Episode 3)The first of the series’ “poor Sally” episodes. The show’s first season defined Sally Rogers by her inability to find a fella. (“If I thought it would help, I’d put an ad in Hobo News.”). But Rose Marie displays strong dramatic chops when she breaks down over the incessant jokes she believes alienated her blind date.
"This was a somewhat forgotten parcel for a number of years during the economic downturn. For us to be able to now develop it is really exciting because we feel it is a unique site," said Jim Telling, Managing Partner at East West Partners. "It’s southern facing and offers this rare connection to the river. Residents will have access to all of the amenities at the Westin and it’s walkable to town. For us, this is the opportunity to create some really fun lifestyles for people."
Jordyn Habu, 6 months old, models her aunty Patricia Huntley’s hand-painted onesie. Huntley’s baby products under the Hapa Maui Designs label will be one of the more than 140 vendors featured at the Made in Maui County Festival on Friday and Saturday at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.
But in any case, I’ve had plenty of experience with newborn dressing. And since I’ve done the whole baby thing twice in the last handful of years, I got a second chance (with it all still pretty fresh in my memory) at building that baby wardrobe and putting it into action once my little one arrived.

A: Our viewers’ generosity. When our anchors talk about the 15,000 boys and girls not having a warm winter coat as they stand at the bus stop on cold mornings, our viewers respond. The phones start ringing with significant pledges, and it warms every heart in the studio. With the two recent devastating hurricanes, we know a lot of families are struggling. More than ever, there’s a need this year for winter clothing and new toys to help families.
Huntley’s onesies are hand painted with pineapples, a customer favorite, and she also paints pictures of succulents for the tiny tots. For baby boys, the onesies may include photos of teepees and fish.
The 10th Mountain Division is the winter warfare unit created by the United States Army during World War II that trained just south of Vail at Camp Hail. Comprised of mountaineers and expert skiers, the soldiers of the 10th fought in the northern Italian Alps. After the war, these outdoor enthusiasts became involved with the ski industry, which was quickly growing in America.
Bash had no problem walking through winter slush in these waterproof, fleece-lined, super stylish duck boots. We especially love how the side zipper makes them so easy for our little guy to get them on and off by himself!

The Mustangs were challenged by the Bobcats in the boys field thanks in large part to Sky View’s vaunted 1-2 tandem of Darwin Anderson and Jake Walters. Walters and Anderson are arguably the two most well-rounded boys prep swimmers in the Beehive State.
If the weather calls for it, you can throw a blanket over your child. Dr. Baer says that it’s usually easiest to keep the legs warm with a blanket, because kids often push blankets off their chests (again, layer their torsos to say warm). Alternatively, you can put their bulky winter coat on backwards, with the back of the coat facing outward, and their arms through the sleeves — after your child is securely buckled in.
The Mustang boys, who were also the runner-ups in their own invitational, were led by Mason Leishman and Brayden Rigby. Leishman beat all comers in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2 minutes, 9.48 seconds, and was the runner-up in the 500 freestyle (5:19.35). Rigby was the silver medalist in the 50 free (22.99) and 100 free (52.05).
"We would go to Key West during Spring Break and he would spend a lot of hours over at the roller-hockey rink, especially when he would bring a buddy," said Jim Knox, whose idea to bring a similar rink to Westerville was rooted in honoring Thomas, who died more than two years ago, at age 14, after playing a hockey game. "I was heading home from Uptown Westerville and I was like, ‘What can we do? What can we do different?’ I got home and the thought of Key West came to my mind."
