In this season two episode the dynamic between Rob and Laura is still being fleshed out. Choosing the right combination of layers is essential to maximizing your child’s warmth while minimizing the potential for epic meltdowns prior to even getting out the door. Cozy base layers snuggle up next to your toddler’s skin and should focus on keeping him dry. Our favorite under-layers are made from moisture-wicking fabrics such as merino wool, Polartec and Capilene.

Just like with yourself when you’re out during the day, it’s just much easier to take off a sweater than, say, go home and change into a whole new, more temp-appropriate, outfit.

47. “Sol and the Sponsor” (Season 1, Episode 29)It’s just “one of those life situations that comes along once in awhile” when Rob’s uncouth Army Buddy Sol (Marty Ingalls) crashes the Petrie household on the night he is entertaining a stuffy sponsor and his wife. The anticipatory audience murmur sets up the episode’s biggest laugh when Sol misinterprets Rob’s hint that Sol would be the odd man out at an uneven dinner party and shows up with his friend Herman’s brassy, gum-chewing sister Arlene.

“This was exactly what I needed. It was true to size and totally adorable. My 21-month-old wore it three times, for a few hours each, and it held up just fine. He objected to the ‘hat’ for a minute, then forgot all about it and seemed totally comfortable. Some other reviewers were dissatisfied that there was no tail; I didn’t mind at all — he was still unmistakably a tiger, and I think it would have just gotten in the way and led to the whole thing ripping if it got caught. Totally recommend! Note: We did not have him walk outdoors with it — only indoors. If one is buying this for trick-or-treating, I’m not sure how long the feet would hold up.”

"We would go to Key West during Spring Break and he would spend a lot of hours over at the roller-hockey rink, especially when he would bring a buddy," said Jim Knox, whose idea to bring a similar rink to Westerville was rooted in honoring Thomas, who died more than two years ago, at age 14, after playing a hockey game. "I know stickers have been done in the past, but I kind of wanted to put Thomas’ own twist on it, instead of just using his initials on the sticker. So, I wanted to make sure his name was on there or his initials, and kind of a message. So that ‘familia supra omnia,’ family over everything … I thought that was pretty relevant to the St. Charles hockey community, because we were all pretty tight."
